About

Hi, I'm Jessie Cheng!

I graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in Management, concentrating in Marketing & Business Analytics with a Film minor. My goal in the entertainment industry is to create positive cultural impact by promoting diverse music and connecting artists and fans through the power of live music. My marketing experience has allowed me to work directly with artists and professionals in areas ranging from campaign strategy and artist management to tour marketing, influencer marketing, and photoshoot coordination.

Beyond my professional work, I aim to increase awareness and promote mental health through creative storytelling. As a Chinese American woman, I want to advance a new, diverse narrative on mental health and in penning my debut novel, Unglamored, seek to spark conversations about eating disorders within Asian communities and the entertainment industry.

I can often be found making yet another Spotify playlist, reading a good book, or performing two a.m. solo concerts in front of my mirror.

What others are saying about Unglamored

“A natural story teller, Cheng uses her unique perspective to explore the differences between American and Chinese cultures and to vocalize the silent struggle we all endure to achieve mental well being. A must-read to understand the rising generation.”
